Last Thursday I joined some knitting friends for a special outing to Yarn, a film by Una Lorenzen. Neil Genzlinger of the The New York Times says:
"You have almost certainly never seen a better documentary about yarn than Yarn. It isn’t perfect — it’s a little too airy and artsy in spots — but still, thread and string should be jealous."

Surprisingly? There wasn't a large turn out for the week long run of this documentary but I will say my friends and I enjoyed it.

The filmmakers take you on a world wide tour of various countries including Iceland, Canada, Cuba and a number of European countries. If you get a chance, do check it out.
