My husband and I spent this past weekend doing photography. I've just published the first of several patterns. You can find it here. If you are new to lace knitting, a pattern like this is a great introduction. Using a heavier weight yarn is much easier for beginner lace knitters. I knit this version from stash yarn. I use these two shawls in my class on working with hand dyed yarns. They demonstrate how colour variation impacts the perception of the pattern. I love both versions but I find them remarkably different.
