Taking Accurate Measurements
I found an interesting video here on taking measurements. It covers assessing front and back differences, shoulder slope, armhole depth and neck width. I own the Hurth ruler that is shown in the video and have found it to be very handy to keep the angles in place while measuring. You can do the same thing with two hard rulers if you have an assistant to help you. I have another method for measuring armhole depth here.
