I prefer to express it as innovation or "learning point" or just "it did not work that way". The wording "mistake" has actually negative psychological influence on everybody's mind presuming that we are about to do something "wrong". This might be explanation for having fear of failure. The "right" way is only one of the many ways how somebody or many of them came to success. But this must not work for everybody.<br />Just couple of days I read somewhere following wise sentence: "I did not fail. I found out 100.000 ways how it did not work."<br />Happy knitting!Handstrick Flairhttp://handstrick-flair.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3440603490259597083.post-24839658132713353372010-11-24T12:31:12.683-05:002010-11-24T12:31:12.683-05:00I completely agree, I definitely learn more from m...I completely agree, I definitely learn more from my mistakes, and I learn a lot haha! Mistakes can be very time consuming, so right now I'm trying to teach myself that rushing is not the answer, take it slow and do it right :)SillyLittleLadyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04175728553518851275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3440603490259597083.post-16855340812150950652010-11-24T10:01:50.546-05:002010-11-24T10:01:50.546-05:00lazykaty I'm with you on that one I just keep ...lazykaty I'm with you on that one I just keep making NEW mistakes with new projects so maybe it just feels like fewer because I have completed so many things! Wouldn't agree that I make fewer mistakes now that I know more... about the same, I guess, but different ones every time (fortunately, wouldn't it be terrible to make the same mistake over and over again?)lazykatynoreply@blogger.com
